Surveys course designed to provide information concerning (1) the historical development of educating students with learning disabilities, (2) the etiology of learning disabilities, (3) characteristics and implications for amelioration, and (4) instructional strategies, curriculum development, programming and collaboration. A 20-hour practicum is a required part of the course. Prerequisite: Special Education 200 or WPI.
