This course is designed to provide "hands-on" experience with instructional technology resources to develop the skills necessary to integrate the use of computers and other technology tools in classroom instruction and professional communications. Included will be an extensive exploration of available instructional software, popular search engines and subject directories, and Internet sites. This course will examine the importance of critical evaluation and management of resources. It will also provide an introduction to contemporary communication systems (Email, World Wide Web, wikis, blogs, podcasts, distance learning and video conferencing).
