This course is intended to give students the opportunity to develop skills in planning, assessment, and management for instruction and teaching in the K-12 classroom. Students will develop skills in teaching, classroom management, student assessment and instructional strategies that are part of the instructional experience. Students will develop a knowledge base in secondary methods that will allow the perspective teacher to choose from a variety of strategies needed to deliver knowledge to a diverse group of learners.
