This course is designed as a guided survey special course for all education majors of the area of disability in the field of Special Education. In addition, there will be an exploration into the historical/philosophical/political/ sociological foundations as they relate to exceptional children. There will be a ten-hour laboratory experience in public schools. (20 hours for those seeking a special education endorsement.)
