This class will introduce students into the taxonomy, life-history, and ecology of aquatic insects. A great deal of research and regulatory protocols utilizing aquatic insects. Aquatic insect identification and basic ecological experimentation will be covered in laboratory. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in Biology 211 or Environmental Science 210.
