EDUC-780: Societal Issues and Education (3). This course offers exploration and analysis of how societal issues impact cognitive and behavioral development in children and adolescents, and the measures which are being taken to address these concerns. Topics will include issues of poverty, cultural diversity, gender identification, and changing social norms as they influence and impact the educational experience.
