This course introduces students to their first programming language. The topics focus on introductory computer science concepts such as: constants and variables, primitive types and objects, conditional and branch instructions, iterations, and method use and declaration. It also teaches elements of a high-level programming language and concepts of algorithm development. Emphasis on good programming style.
