Botany is the scientific study of plants. Course outcomes include demonstrated knowledge of the cellular biology, structure and function, development, evolution, and ecology of plants. The lab serves to reinforce lecture material through microscopy, lab experiments, and field experiments. Skills emphasized include experimental design and data analysis.
