This course surveys the various types of aquatic ecosystems, with an introduction to relevant organisms. Both flowing and static waters are included. Emphasis is given to study techniques used by aquatic ecologists. Laboratory includes basic identification of aquatic organisms. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in Biology 211 or Environmental Science 210.
