This course will trace the evolution of international law starting with the Nuremberg trials, and moving forward to include the International Criminal Tribunals for Rwanda and former Yugoslavia, the International Criminal Court, and other human rights trials. The course shall examine the difference between national, regional (European Court of Justice), and global approaches to international law.
