Wetlands are unique ecosystems containing life adapted to handle permanently or seasonally flooded conditions. Course outcomes include demonstrated knowledge of hydrology, soils, vegetation, ecology, classification, and regulation of wetlands. Skills emphasized include use of data analysis, hydrophytic plant identification, and wetland delineation. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours per week.
