This course acquaints the student with the many and varied aspects of medical science that are related to exercise aggravated or induced pathology. The physiologic adaptations to the physical and mental stress of exercise form the basis of the lectures. Included is the use of physical activity in both the treatment and prevention of certain diseases. Also included are the basic principles of cardiac diseases.
