In this course, the interdisciplinary approach to adapted physical education and recreation will be explored with emphasis on the psychological, social and leisure aspects of exceptional individuals. Students will apply concepts gained by working with exceptional individuals in school, hospital and/or rehabilitation center. A 10-hour laboratory experience is required as part of this course.
