BUSI 100 / Introduction to Business: This course will expose students to business terminology, concepts, and current business practices. Throughout the course, we will establish a viable business vocabulary, foster critical and analytical thinking, and refine business decision-making skills. The design is to expose the interested student to many functions of modern business. A focus on the field of business including topics such as business environment, management, organization, marketing, finance, accounting, and data processing are discussed in an introductory manner and explain how these functions exist in a changing society and the type of decisions which must be made within that environment. The survey includes deeper information of management, finance accounting, marketing, production, computers, international business, small business, investments, and other areas of general business interests. The course is also designed to expose the student to the multitude of career fields in the areas of business and is open to all majors.
