An introductory level study of cellular and molecular biology. Basic concepts of cellular structure, genetics, reproduction, locomotion, protein synthesis, metabolism, chemistry and physiology are presented. The laboratory component emphasizes the use of the scientific method to study cellular processes with a focus on the communication of results in scientific format.
