A course designed to study the structure of animals at tissue and organs levels. Emphasis is placed on the recognition of mammalian tissues at the microscopic level as well as their basic functions. Proper microscope techniques also stressed. Techniques of animal tissue fixation, staining, and microscope slide mounting are covered in the laboratory component. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours per week.
