This course examines the basic foundations of progressive psychological changes that occur in human beings as they age, with an emphasis on the birth to elementary school years. The field of Developmental Psychology examines change across a broad range of areas including motor skills and other psycho-physiological processes, problem solving abilities, conceptual understanding, language acquisition, moral understanding, and identify formation.
