A course designed to investigate the taxonomy, distribution and natural history of reptiles and amphibians. Emphasis is placed on local forms. Laboratories will be include a comparative study of amphibian and reptilian anatomy as well field-based labs focusing on identification of local herpetofauna as well as current techniques for the field study of amphibians and reptiles. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours per week as well as field trips.
