Hardware and Software technologies strive to keep pace with the growth of cyber security threats. These technologies include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus systems, and botnets. This course covers these technologies in addition to some others. The course provides methodologies for network traffic analysis and packet filtering. It also covers intrusion detection methods on the host and network levels. The course also provides knowledge on intrusion prevention and malware analysis.
